Fakta:
During Noguchi's design process, a total of over 100 hand-made Shoji-paper models for his lighting collection were created.
Noguchi chose the name 'akari', as this word connotes brightness and light in his native Japanese.
The Akari 10A is created from washi paper and bamboo ribbing and is supported by a metal frame.
